Salem's Lot

Speak to me

In secret sins

Set me free and

I'll breathe again

Pull me close and

Stretch me thin

I'm at the window

So let me in

Buried in the briers

The world is a vampire

Tangled in the branches

Running across my skin

Open up

Dysfunctional

Sacred devils and

Fallen angels

Wounded beasts

Healing heads

Rising oceans and

Hurricanes

Buried in the briers

The world is a vampire

Tangled in the branches

Running across my skin

Meet me with the madness

Knots all in my throat

Puncture marks and sadness

Sailing me like boats

Unravel these

Like mysteries

Lonely echoes

Gnawed by fleas

Gnarled trees

Loss compounded

Mind confounded

Momentary

Buried in the briers

The world is a vampire

Tangled in the branches

Running across my skin

Under fingernails

Tearing sails

Run aground and

I am falling down

Irrational

Wolves that howl

Hearts that melt

In this deeper snow

Given chills

Still critical

You're a crutch but

I'm missing touch

Edges rough

Fragmented

Dripped in sorrows

Just filling up

Seasonal

Stings like hell

Make an offer to

End this now

Drifted off

Sanguine love

Winter's coming

Climactic

Buried in the briers

The world is a vampire

Tangled in the branches

Running across my skin

Show me fangs

Sent to drain

Last resort and

A crooked name

Speak to me

In secret sins

Set me free and

I'll breathe again

Pull me close and

Stretch me thin

I'm at the window

So let me in

Salem's Lot
