There are a lot of different factors that go into determining who we are and how we live our lives. Where we are born, who are parents might have been. This world and those around us will often try to put us in boxes, push us into molds, shape us in ways we don't always have a say in. Even when we feel trapped, or powerless, however, we must remember that we always have some control over ourselves. If this is our story we have every right to change it and to put to rest the weight of what holds us back.
